Shawn Kemp - The Reignman DVD Rip

The Seattle SuperSonics drafted Kemp in the first round of the 1989 NBA Draft and he quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Kemp was one of the NBA's premier high flyers with outstanding leaping abilities. At the time, he was the youngest player in the NBA. Half-court lob passes from Gary Payton to Kemp became a regular sight to see. Together with Payton, Detlef Schrempf, Sam Perkins, Hersey Hawkins, and other stars, they became a highly successful squad. After Kemp's second NBA season, he picked up the nickname "Reign Man" after Sonics announcer Kevin Callabro saw a poster with the name and found it fitting to add to his radio broadcasts.

The Answer - DVD Rip

Wildly exciting as a collection of great NBA moments, Allen Iverson: The Answer is a gift to average-size couch potatoes everywhere. Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson--a 6-foot-tall, 160-pound star in a professional sport where gigantism is the norm--is the worthy subject of this NBA Entertainment tribute. If it isn't exactly penetrating as journalism (Iverson's pre-college problems with the law receive little more than a murky allusion), it's certainly fun as an unabashed valentine, full of thrilling clips. The Answer is most entertaining covering Iverson's brief basketball career at Georgetown (he was first pick in the 1996 NBA draft, leaving school after his sophomore year), through his conflicts with Sixers coach Larry Brown and beyond. While there's a sprinkling of talking heads in The Answer, the most entertaining section finds Sixers fans sharing their thoughts on camera--some while eating their lunches.
One of the biggest star in the NBA today, this program chronicles Allen Iverson's inspiring journey from a difficult childhood in Virginia to NBA MVP. Features great bonus content including Allen's Top 10 Plays.

The NBA's 100 Greatest Plays

Perhaps more than any other sport, basketball is a star-driven event: Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Dennis Rodman, Shaquille O'Neal--the list could go on and on. But it's not necessarily these athletes' overall careers that we remember as much as the breathtaking individual plays these illustrious men have given us. Is it possible to break down a hundred of these greatest moments in NBA history? The NBA's 100 Greatest Plays certainly tries.
While last-minute heroics tend to be the standard by which we define excellence, there are many other moments that have left an indelible impression, many of them highlighted here. The video clips fall into 10 categories: Dunks, Alley-oops, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Teamwork, the Clutch Shot, Moves, Hustle, and Buzzer-Beaters. At the beginning of each section is a brief introduction. Before showing the top 10 dunks of all time, for example, we learn about the evolution of the dunk--from the first slam to the man who could fly, Michael Jordan--and we hear background commentary from NBA legends such as Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Dr. J, and Bill Russell. This video recalls familiar moments of NBA lore that you will want to own for countless repeat viewings. --

Michael Jordan Air Time -DVD Rip

While the video sprinkles Jordan's commentary throughout, it covers the Chicago Bulls' first two championships (with downright cool footage of the 1992 playoff series against the Knicks); Michael's second Olympic experience; his commercial endorsement work; and a music video with the ever-ghoulish Michael Jackson. Sneak peeks into Jordan's home life with Juanita and the kids are also tossed in. What's most engaging, though, is not walking down memory lane into the Bulls' glory days against L.A., Portland, and every other NBA team, but learning what a truly stable and genuine off-court demeanor Jordan has. In an age when young players proudly sport their arrogant, entitled attitudes, Michael's authentically gracious ways are those of a dying breed. After all, what red-hot player today--when given the opportunity to be captain of a Dream Team featuring Magic Johnson and Larry Bird--would defer without hesitation to his elders? Latrel Sprewell, he's not--and thank goodness.

Michael Jordan 's Playground DVD Rip

Basketball legend Michael Jordan is both subject and star of this video, which begins with a dizzying montage of Jordan's spectacular moves on the court. That's followed by dramatic feature about a dejected teenager who doesn't make the cut at a high school basketball team tryout but who winds up, as if by magic, getting coaching from Jordan himself. Pertinent clips from Jordan's college and pro career illustrate particular points as he delivers lessons about determination and "heart." Some of Jordan's teammates and illustrious opponents also appear in interview segments to talk about his fierce will to win. Rounding out Michael Jordan's Playground is a music video, in which Jordan even does a little dancing. This video is always entertaining, and chances are it would be helpful as a motivational tool for a young player.
